We Make Theatre Happen!
Inspiration and education are a focus of Basin Lake Theatre Project. Managing Director Julie Chavez Harrington, as a Teacher Member of Folger Shakespeare Library, is pleased to make available to institutes of learning, both locally and across the state, opportunities for growth and discovery through classic theatre and its related arts. The Tolerance Project
Creating Theatre from Adversity
Students are encouraged to translate their personal experiences with bullying, abuse and discrimination into theatrical moments. Through dramaturgy, participants navigate the process of shaping a finished performance piece and, through various exercises, learn basic stage techniques that culminate in an ensemble performance.
